Our school's library experiences are the building blocks that prepare a student to learn that reading provides both enjoyment and information. These experiences introduce young readers to the concept that people of all ages like to read and that the library is a good place to discover books as well as digital, non-print materials.
Aligned with the Diocese of Arlington Curriculum Guidelines, our mission is to provide students with the reading and information skills they need to achieve success both in school and in life. Library classes teach students important information literacy and research skills which they need to successfully utilize the library. The school library program also encourages life-long readers by providing students with the opportunity to select books for their own reading pleasure.
